Privacy Policy

Two Cents is a free-to-play prediction game. We collect the minimum needed to run your account and score your predictions, and we do not sell your data. We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in, and we never set tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.

• Account: your email address and optional display name. Email confirmation is required before you can stake coins.
• Predictions: the topics you answer, your YES/NO choice, and the coins you stake.
• Account integrity signals: coarse device and network signals (a device fingerprint, approximate IP-derived location, and email-domain type) used only to discourage multiple-account abuse. These are never used to identify you across other services.
• Balance history: your coin balance, daily credits, top-ups, stakes, and payouts.

• No phone numbers, addresses, or government IDs.
• No payment instruments — coins have no cash value.
• No advertising identifiers or third-party tracking pixels.

We set one essential, first-party session cookie so you stay signed in between pages. It is strictly necessary for the service and is not used for tracking. You can sign out at any time, which clears the session.

• To create and manage your account.
• To record predictions, settle outcomes, and credit payouts.
• To maintain leaderboards and your personal record.
• To flag suspected duplicate accounts for admin review — never to automatically punish you.

We do not sell or rent your data. We share information only as required to operate the service (for example, our managed backend hosting and auth provider) or where required by law. Aggregate, de-identified statistics may be shown publicly (such as crowd vote splits) but never reveal an individual's choice or identity.

• You can sign out or request account deletion at any time.
• You can use the app without staking coins.
• Because coins have no cash value, there is nothing to cash out.

Two Cents is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We'll update this policy if our practices change. Significant changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, the public topic change history.
